About Millennium Events
Millennium Events is San Diego's premier event and party provider. We specialize
in large publicly advertised events. Our goal is to provide memorable, top
notch social events through superior customer service, dependability and
creativity for all our clients and their guests. In fact, our goal is for
guests to remember our events for a thousand years. Our flagship event is
the annual New Year's Eve Yacht Party, San Diego's most exciting way to ring
in the New Year.
The Millennium Events Team
David Wright
PRESIDENT AND CEO OF MILLENNIUM EVENTS, LLC. David has been coordinating
events of a range of sizes for a variety of clientele for over 10 years.
David transitioned from a career as a U.S. Marine helicopter pilot to start
Millennium Events LLC as his full time occupation. His unique background
has allows him to blend the operational planning skills of a pilot with
the creativity of an event planner. David received a B.S. from Radford
University in 1996, was designated a Naval Aviator in 2000 and is currently
working towards a Master's degree in Business Administration.
BRENT CUSHMAN
VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES AND MARKETING. Brent has 15 years experience in
advertising in both domestic and international media. He has held positions
as the Ad director for Readers Digest (Australia), Marketing director for
AfterMidnight Syndicated Radio (Los Angeles) and was the senior sales director
for Fresh magazine in Sydney, Australia. Brent is also a contributing writer
for several major publications including Golf Austrailia, Women's Day and
Inside Sport magazine.
DANIEL SCHMIDT
VICE PRESIDENT OF BRANDING AND DESIGN. The visual and artistic director
of Millennium Events, Dan is responsible for the branding of each event
as well as the related marketing and advertising materials. He also designs
and manages the Millennium Events web site and online presence. With over
a decade of experience, Dan has worked at a large advertising firm with
Fortune 500 companies, as well as five years as the primary designer at
a multi-disciplinary corporate identity firm. In 2006, Dan started his
own company, Go Creative, where his clients include Millennium Events,
Plush Impressions and several other national clients, for whom he implements
branding solutions, web development, advertising materials and more.
